Join us for our Spring Whale Watch Fundraiser!
Springtime is the peak of the gray whale northward migration to the nutrient-rich waters of the Arctic. This is a spectacular time to go whale watching as it offers excellent opportunities to see both gray whales and killer whales in Monterey Bay! Join ACS San Francisco Bay Chapter and Blue Ocean Whale Watch for a 3 to 4-hour tour of Monterey Bay aboard the luxurious M.V. High Spirits. Blue Ocean Whale Watch will donate a portion of the trip proceeds to support ACS San Francisco Chapter’s cetacean research grant program!
As we look for humpback, gray, and killer whales we’ll learn from highly experienced naturalists about the natural history of these magnificent species while we observe them in their natural habitat. Other incredible ocean creatures we may have a chance to see include Risso’s dolphins, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Northern right-whale dolphins, Dall’s porpoises, harbor porpoises, bottlenose dolphins, mola molas, sea otters, California sea lions and more.
Join us and support cetacean research while viewing whales in the wild! Use the link below to reserve your seat for the April 28 10:00 am whale watch. We look forward to having you aboard.
