FUN-tastic Whales was a great success! Kids made whale mobiles, played an echolocation game and much more! The winner of the Cetacean Drawing Contest will be chosen soon. We are beginning to offer FUN-TASTIC Whales at libraries around the SF Bay Area. If you are interested in this FUNTASTIC program coming to your community, contact our Outreach Coordinator, Debbie Marcal at (650) 583-6875 or by email

We provided pictures of cetaceans, stencils and crayons for the coloring contest.

Members of Phi Theta Kapa, Skyline College's honor society, were on hand to assist with FUN-TASTIC Whales. Here, Graciela Hough shows kids what it is like to rely on sound to find your food by playing this echolocation game.
