FUN-tastic Whales was a great success! Kids made whale
mobiles, played an echolocation game and much more! The
winner of the Cetacean Drawing Contest will be chosen soon. We are beginning
to offer FUN-TASTIC Whales at libraries around the SF Bay Area. If you are interested

As children entered FUN-TASTIC Whales, they were given a name tag which also gave them their first activity. Each name tag had a partial picture of a whale, and they identified which species of whale they had by looking at pictures posted on the wall. |

This participant is experiencing the warmth of blubber. The "blubber glove" is always a winner! A glove made of fur and a glove with no insulation give this experiment some scientific merit! |
